How the public olafit.solutions website uses browser storage and operational statistics. This also applies to its www variant.

What we use now
We currently run no visitor analytics or advertising tracking on this website. Fonts and scripts are served from our own website. We do not collect consent in advance for future tracking.
Functional browser preferences
If you change the animation setting, we store your choice in localStorage under olaf-preview-motion. It only remembers your preference and does not identify a visitor. It remains until you change the setting or clear site data in your browser. We do not require tracking consent for this setting.
Optional analytics and consent
Analytics is currently off. Before enabling it, we will identify the specific service, purpose and retention period and ask for separate consent. Rejecting will be as easy as accepting and will not restrict use of the website. Closing the dialog or doing nothing is not consent. You will be able to change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer at any time.
Saving your choice
If consent becomes necessary, olaf_consent_v1 in localStorage will record the choice, service identifier, information revision, choice time and expiry after 180 days. It contains no visitor identifier. Acceptance and rejection have the same lifetime. A different service or changed terms require a new choice. Generic consent from the previous website is not carried over.
Operational statistics
Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront) delivers this website. Serving a request requires processing technical data such as the IP address. Our internal dashboard receives only daily request and transfer totals, with 30 days of history and no IP addresses or individual browsing histories. We do not store analytics cookies in your browser for these totals.
Changing and clearing preferences
You can disable optional tracking in Cookie settings. Withdrawal stops further tracking and removes the relevant analytics data stored locally; it does not itself delete previously transmitted data. You can also remove all local preferences by clearing this website’s data in your browser. Choices apply to a particular browser and website address.

Website inquiries
When you submit this form, we store your name, contact email, optional company, topic, language and message in our internal OlafUniverse system to handle your inquiry. Access is limited to authorized Olaf IT Solutions staff. We do not use these details to track visitors or send automated marketing. To request correction or deletion, contact info@olafit.solutions. We review inquiries when closed and no later than 12 months after the last contact, removing details no longer needed for an engagement or other obligations. Technical references prevent duplicate submissions. Form protection briefly uses the connection address to limit abuse; it is not included in the ticket. AWS hosts the website and internal system.
